Solution 1: Check If The LOL Servers Are Down

You can do this by visiting the LOL official website or the LOL official Facebook page.  Now, if the server is not down or under maintenance, then the problem is a genuine network issue.

Solution 2: Restart Your Modem & Router

Sometimes, just by restarting your modem and router, you can solve a lot of connection issues. Try this in the beginning, before we go into other more complex solutions.

1. Unplug your modem and router and don’t plug-in for at least 2-3 minutes.

1. Type Network in the Windows search bar and select the Network Status option.
2. Click on the Change adapter options and right-click on your network adapter. Select the Properties option from the pop-up menu on your screen.

3. Navigate to the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and double click on it.

4. In the general tab, select the Use the following DNS server addresses option and enter 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as shown in the image below and then click on OK.

To renew/release IP and flush DNS, follow the given steps:

2. Once the command prompt opens, type ipconfig /renew and press Enter to renew your IP.
3. Next, type ipconfig /release and press Enter to release your IP.
4. Then, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter to flush DNS.
5. Finally, close down your command prompt.

Solution 6: Disable Your Proxy

Using Proxy and VPN can cause serious network issues while playing LOL. And if you have them on, it is very likely the culprit behind your problem.

To disable Proxy, follow the steps given below:

1. Open the Network Status mentioned in Solution 4.
2. Now, select the Proxy option on the left side.
3. Turn off the Automatically detect settings toggle as well as the Use setup script.
