Do colleges genuinely run application essays through AI detection tools, or is that mostly a rumor that’s spread without much actual evidence?
I’m working on my essays right now and the anxiety is real, even though I’m writing everything myself — I’ve used AI to brainstorm topics only, never to write actual sentences. Would appreciate actual information rather than more anxiety-inducing speculation.
